Scope of this policy

This policy explains how personal information is collected, used, stored and shared when you visit gdcmarketingresults.com, submit an enquiry, request a consultation or communicate with GDC Marketing Results. It does not cover third-party websites reached through external links. The website and its services are intended for businesses and adults; we do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the enquiry form. We may update this policy when our services, suppliers or legal obligations change, and will publish the current version here with its effective date.

Personal information we collect

Information you provide

When you use the contact form or contact us directly, we may collect your name, email address, the service you are interested in, the contents of your message and any other information you choose to provide. Please do not include special-category or highly sensitive personal information unless it is genuinely necessary for your enquiry.

Information collected automatically

The website and its security services may process technical information such as your IP address, browser and device information, page and request timestamps, server logs, security events and interaction signals used to distinguish genuine users from automated abuse.

Form submissions

Contact-form submissions are stored in the website’s WordPress database through Elementor Pro and are also sent by email to info@gdcmarketingresults.com through Hostinger Email. An automatic confirmation may be sent to the email address entered in the form.

How and why we use personal information

Responding to enquiries: We use your details to understand your request, reply, arrange a consultation, prepare a proposal or quotation and take steps you request before entering into a contract. The lawful basis is Article 6(1)(b) UK GDPR: taking steps at your request before entering into, or performing, a contract.

Website and form security: We process limited technical and security data to prevent spam, fraud, malicious activity and misuse of the website. The lawful basis is Article 6(1)(f) UK GDPR: our legitimate interests in operating a secure and reliable website.

Business records and legal claims: We may retain communications and transaction records where necessary for accounting, legal compliance, dispute resolution or establishing, exercising or defending legal claims. The lawful bases may be Article 6(1)(c), compliance with a legal obligation, and Article 6(1)(f), our legitimate interests.

Submitting the contact form does not subscribe you to marketing. We do not currently use the form details for newsletters or automated advertising. If this changes, we will update this policy and obtain any consent required by law before sending marketing to individuals.

Automated security checks

The form uses Google reCAPTCHA v3. reCAPTCHA analyses technical and interaction signals and produces an automated risk assessment to help identify spam or abusive submissions. This security assessment may affect whether a form submission is accepted, but it is not used to make decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about you.

Google processes information in accordance with its Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

Who we share information with

Hostinger: provides website hosting, database infrastructure and email services. Information submitted through the form may be stored or transmitted through Hostinger systems.

Google reCAPTCHA: processes technical and interaction information for spam and abuse prevention.

Professional and legal recipients: information may be disclosed to professional advisers, insurers, regulators, courts, law-enforcement bodies or other parties where reasonably necessary or legally required.

We do not sell personal information. We require service providers acting on our behalf to handle information for authorised purposes and with appropriate security and data-protection safeguards.

International transfers

Some service providers may process information outside the United Kingdom. Where personal information is transferred internationally, we use providers and transfer arrangements intended to provide an appropriate level of protection, such as UK adequacy regulations or approved contractual safeguards, where required.

How long we keep information

Enquiries that do not become client work: normally up to 24 months after the last meaningful contact, unless a longer period is reasonably required for a dispute or legal obligation.

Client and transaction records: normally up to six years after the end of the client relationship, where needed for tax, accounting, contractual or legal purposes.

Technical and security records: for only as long as reasonably necessary for security, troubleshooting and abuse prevention, subject to the relevant provider’s retention practices.

We review stored Elementor form submissions and mailbox records periodically and delete or anonymise information that is no longer required.

How we protect information

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal information, including access controls, account authentication, website updates, anti-spam protection, encrypted connections where available and authenticated email delivery. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Your data-protection rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may have rights to request access to your personal information, correction of inaccurate information, deletion, restriction of processing, data portability and objection to processing based on legitimate interests. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time without affecting earlier lawful processing.

To exercise a right, email info@gdcmarketingresults.com. We may need to verify your identity and will normally respond within one month, subject to the exceptions permitted by law.
